Ride Height and Damping Adjustment
MONO SPORT uses a full length ride height adjustment system, so the case length can be changed without affecting damper stroke or spring preload, keeping the impact on ride quality to a minimum. Damping force is adjustable across 16 levels for compression and rebound together, and works alongside TEIN's exclusive ADVANCE M.S.V. sub valve system, which widens the adjustable range by around three times while eliminating unwanted loss of damping force at very low speeds. The kit is also compatible with TEIN's EDFC range, including EDFC5 and EDFC Active Pro, for electronic damping force adjustment from the driver's seat.

Kit Contents and Service
Each MONO SPORT kit is a complete set of 4 shock absorbers and 4 springs, supplied with dedicated upper mounts designed for each vehicle, either reinforced rubber or pillow ball with camber adjustment, with some models using OE mounts. Unlike TEIN's sealed structure lines, MONO SPORT can be fully disassembled, so both overhaul and revalving services are available to restore original performance or change damping settings to suit the customer.

Construction and Durability
MONO SPORT uses a mono tube structure that fully separates the oil and gas chambers, preventing aeration and giving stable, linear damping force even under repeated hard use on circuit. For strut type suspensions, TEIN uses a triple tube Upright Strong Tube design for high lateral stiffness and reduced friction. The shell case is made from high strength STKM13C steel, finished with TEIN's green powder coating, patented 2 layer, 1 bake anti rust treatment, and ZTP surface coating for protection against stone chips and corrosion. Included springs are cold formed from SAE9254 steel with a minimum tensile strength of 200 kgf per square millimeter, and are powder coated to resist sagging and corrosion over time.
