Some events are more than just a product training or dealer meeting. They provide a unique insight into the DNA of a brand, strengthen existing relationships, and give new energy to advise customers even better. At the invitation of Akrapovič, we had the opportunity to participate in the Akrapovič Dealer Training 2026 in Slovenia. For three days, we were immersed in the world of high-quality performance exhaust systems, innovation, motorsport, and craftsmanship.
For us as a dealer, this was not only an educational experience but also a confirmation of why Akrapovič holds such an important place within the brand portfolio of Co-ordSport.

Day 1 – Arrival in Ljubljana and meeting the Akrapovič family

On Sunday, we arrived in the beautiful Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, where the participants were welcomed at the stylish Grand Plaza Hotel. The first day was entirely focused on meeting people and building connections.

We got to know the international Akrapovič team, various contacts and fellow dealers from different countries. What stood out immediately was the open and approachable atmosphere. Despite the brand’s global reputation, the gathering felt personal and engaging.

Over a shared dinner, the first conversations began around markets, products, motorsport and developments within the automotive sector. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with other dealers while also getting a first impression of what awaited us in the days ahead.

The evening immediately confirmed that Akrapovič not only develops high-quality products, but also invests strongly in long-term relationships with its dealers and partners.

Day 2 – Knowledge, innovation, and practical experience

Monday morning began with the conference program at the hotel. Throughout various presentations, we received a comprehensive overview of the latest developments within Akrapovič.

Topics ranged from product innovations and future introductions to sales training, marketing strategies, and market developments. Additionally, interactive Q&A sessions were organized where dealers could engage directly with product managers and specialists.

What made these sessions particularly valuable was the transparency with which information was shared. Not only were successes discussed, but also the challenges and opportunities that the market currently offers. This gave us a better insight into Akrapovič's vision and strategy for the coming years.

For us as a dealer, this was extremely valuable information. It enables us to advise customers even better about the benefits of Akrapovič products and the technologies behind the systems.

FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

After lunch, the group moved to the AMZS Driving Safety Centre, where the active part of the day took place.

Here we had the opportunity to experience the performance of various vehicles ourselves during various driving skills and safety exercises. The program included, among other things:

Skid courses
Vehicle control on different surfaces
Course driving
Braking and evasive maneuvers
Sound demonstrations of Akrapovič exhaust systems

During these sessions, we drove an impressive selection of vehicles, including:

Cupra Formentor
Toyota GR Yaris
Porsche 911 GT3
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
Audi S4

For many participants, this was one of the highlights of the event. Not only could we experience the driving characteristics of these vehicles, but we could also hear and feel the difference that an Akrapovič exhaust system makes.

The live sound demonstrations clearly showed why Akrapovič is considered one of the absolute top brands in the performance industry worldwide. The combination of weight savings, high-quality materials, improved performance, and a distinctive sound makes the products unique.

In addition to the driving activities, we also got to know the marketing team, the merchandise department, and the specialists responsible for the design and appearance of the brand. This gave us a better understanding of the enormous amount of work that goes into a global premium brand.
Day 3 – A behind-the-scenes look at Akrapovič

Tuesday was entirely focused on the factory tours. For many, this was perhaps the most impressive part of the entire trip.

After an early start, we headed to the production facilities of Akrapovič. Here we received an extensive tour of various departments within the production process.

What stood out immediately was the exceptionally high level of quality that was visible everywhere. Each component is produced and inspected with the utmost precision before leaving the factory.

During the tour, we gained insight into:

The production processes of titanium exhaust systems
Advanced manufacturing techniques
Quality controls
Material development
Innovation processes
Motorsport applications

An absolute highlight was the opportunity to experience titanium welding firsthand. This made it immediately clear how much craftsmanship is required to produce an Akrapovič exhaust system.

Next, we visited the Research & Development department. Here we saw how new products are developed, tested, and optimized before they hit the market. From 3D design and simulations to extensive practical testing: innovation is at the heart of every step of the development process.

The Racing department also made a great impression. Here, collaboration takes place with various international motorsport teams, and solutions are developed that ultimately find their way into street-legal products. It was remarkable to see how knowledge from motorsport is directly applied to the products that eventually reach customers.

The factory tour made it clear why Akrapovič is seen worldwide as one of the most progressive manufacturers of performance exhaust systems.


More than just a dealer training session

The Akrapovič Dealer Training 2026 was much more than a standard dealer meeting. Over three intensive days, we gained insight not only into products and technologies but especially into the people, passion, and vision behind the brand.

For us, this trip confirmed why Akrapovič fits perfectly within the high-quality brand portfolio of Co-ordSport. Both organizations share the same core values: quality, innovation, performance, and a strong focus on customer experience.

The knowledge we have gained, the contacts we have made, and the experiences we have had form an important foundation for the future. The visit has further strengthened our motivation to represent Akrapovič products and gives us even more confidence to advise customers about one of the leading brands in the performance world.
