Tomei Powered was originally started as a racing development company ‘Tomei Auto’ in 1968 by Suzuki Sei-ichi. Suzuki-san is a pro-tuner and at the same time a well-known pro-driver for the Nissan Works Team, in collaboration with the same team members from Johoku Riders. Since then, Tomei has been responsible for building and tuning thousands of engines from many manufacturers. One of the specializations is developing and manufacturing high-quality performance parts such as exhausts, gaskets, connecting rods, camshafts, and all engine and performance-related components.

For Tomei, the motto “We build it because We love it” has been a way of thinking they stand behind since the very beginning of the company. They test every material and every product time and again under strict quality conditions until the best of the best result is achieved. This driving force and challenge come from the fact that they love what they do, and this has been working for 50 years and has brought them this far. The goal of Tomei is to continue doing what they love for another 50 years with the same passion and love that is deeply rooted in their corporate soul.
