DBA Street Series HC
Description
The Street Series HC (Hybrid Composite) adopts the two-piece OEM design philosophy and makes it available in DBA’s direct replacement range. A cast iron braking ring is permanently bonded to an aluminium or steel hat through co-casting or a series of rivets, a construction method that reduces overall rotor weight compared to a traditional single-piece design, improves heat management by reducing thermal transfer from the ring to the hub, and allows the ring to expand uniformly under heat. For European and premium vehicle applications where the manufacturer originally fitted a composite rotor, the HC provides an OEM-specification replacement with DBA’s engineering quality built in.
