The DW420 features a single-scroll composite turbine impeller combined with a computer-balanced armature, ensuring smooth, quiet operation even at high flow rates. Internally, the pump is equipped with carbon commutators and a fully encapsulated armature, providing long-term durability and full compatibility with ethanol-based fuels, including E85.
To support its higher output, the DW420 operates with increased current draw compared to smaller pumps. For optimal performance and consistent voltage delivery, DeatschWerks strongly recommends the use of a 10-gauge hardwire kit, ensuring maximum efficiency under load
