Technical Description

The EBC Bluestuff NDX Brake Pads are a high-performance hybrid compound designed to bridge the gap between fast road driving and entry-level track use. With a friction coefficient of approximately 0.52, they deliver strong and consistent braking performance across a working temperature range of up to around 550°C, while still maintaining excellent cold bite and controllability.

Unlike full race compounds, Bluestuff NDX is engineered for dual-purpose usability, offering fast bedding-in, low noise, and smooth operation during everyday driving, while remaining capable under trackday conditions. The aramid-based friction material is bonded using the NUCAP NRS hook system for increased mechanical strength and reliability, and the pads are surface-scorched to reduce bedding time. With R90 approval on most European applications, they are one of the few track-capable pads that remain road legal, making them particularly suited for “drive-to-track-and-back” scenarios.
