Constructed entirely from high-grade titanium, with two valves (one per side of the muffler) and two acoustic reflectors. Valve housings and collectors are cast in the in-house titanium foundry.
- Choice of two tailpipe designs: the ground-breaking octagonal shape (as first seen on the BMW M3/M4 exhaust) or the classic design, with carbon-fibre outer sleeves
- 7.3 kg (32.7%) lighter than standard stock
- Power up 3.9 kW (5.3 hp) at 2,800 rpm and torque up 13.5 Nm at 2,800 rpm, tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW M2 Coupé with a standard stock exhaust
- With the advanced Akrapovič control kit: smooth, rich tone at cruising and a deep, sporty sound when driven dynamically
- No ECU remap needed; meets ECE type-approval for the BMW M2 Coupé (G87) with OPF filters
Optional link pipes, downpipes and the Akrapovič Sound Kit are available for closed-circuit use; with these installed, ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid. ECE type approved for cars with an Otto/gasoline particulate filter. The Tail Pipe Set (Carbon) must be ordered separately as a mandatory part: choose TP-CT/69, TP-CT/68 or TP-CT/73/CF. Fits the BMW M2 CS model, but the ECE type-approval certificate is not valid.
