GT3 Technology for the Road

 The KW V5 is the most advanced coilover in KW's street range, built around the same solid piston technology developed for GT3 racing. Unlike conventional twin-tube dampers, the solid piston design allows rebound and compression damping to be adjusted independently in both the low-speed and high-speed ranges, four adjustment axes in total, delivering a level of damper response precision previously reserved for professional motorsport. Operating in a 6 to 10 bar low-pressure gas range, the V5 achieves cavitation-free function and minimal hysteresis, meaning the suspension reacts cleanly and immediately to even the smallest road inputs.

Engineered to Last

 The V5 is built on KW's INOX Line stainless steel platform for full long-term corrosion resistance, with a composite polyamide spring seat and dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread ensuring the stepless lowering system remains fully adjustable years after installation. A parts certificate is included with every kit for straightforward homologation and registration.

Four-Axis Adjustment, 13 Clicks Each

 Low-speed rebound controls road contact and body stability through everyday driving inputs, while high-speed rebound supports the vehicle under rapid suspension movement at speed. On the compression side, low-speed adjustment governs pitch and roll behaviour, and high-speed compression manages grip and traction levels during sharp impacts. Every axis offers 13 clicks of adjustment, all developed and validated on KW's 7-post dynamic test rig for each specific vehicle application.
