A LOOK AT THE AST 5200 SERIES
Rens Adams
You are the kind of person who takes your car and sporty driving seriously and wants to challenge your racing heart. You love to drive a bit sportier on the street, but your focus is mainly on being active on the track. The AST suspension 5200 series is perfectly tuned for daily use but is primarily intended for sporty track use. With these setups, you can best enjoy your sports car and bring out its true racing character. This is the middle sibling of the ‘1-way and 3-way adjustable’ 5100 and 5300 series.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
-2-way adjustable: Inbound and outbound stroke adjustable with a separate reservoir that allows for more fluid and heat displacement.
-With clear feedback from the knob, allowing you to experience a different driving experience with each click.
-An inverted strut, which better captures lateral and braking forces. In some cases, a normal strut is used.
-Improved road holding and driving behavior through Monotube technology. Better damping due to a larger piston surface.
-Ride height adjustable. Average lowering of 25-60mm results in a lower center of gravity and provides a better look.
-Gas filled. Gas and oil are separated by a floating piston.
-Includes AST top mounts / camber plates. High quality without additional noises.
-Includes springs. Custom spring rates available.

Available options for the 5200 series:

Optional DLC coated piston rod.
