A Cold-Air intake is designed to replace the standard inlet with an intake that optimizes the entire inlet path. The Racingline intake replaces the restrictive VW factory part that does not allow the 1.0 Turbo engine of the UP! to perform at its best. Several elements are crucial for better airflow and experience of your turbo engine! The well-known Trifoam filter ensures that the airflow has the least restriction and receives the best possible filtration. The silicone intake pipe makes the rich intake sound much more audible, allowing you to enjoy the intake sound of the turbocharged engine more during acceleration. The standard plastic piping and overly restrictive airflow are replaced with this complete kit, allowing you to benefit from ultimate power gains and intake efficiency! Don't forget a tighter finish and a more luxurious appearance under the hood!
This intake is available with or without the High Flow Turbo UP! Inlet. If your VW UP! already has this inlet, you only need to purchase the intake box and hose with part number VWR12UPGT. The complete intake kit is supplied including the High Flow Turbo inlet under part number VWR12UPGTCOMP.
What does the High Flow Turbo Inlet do?
By combining the Turbo Inlet elbow and the intake kit, the intake path can perform at its maximum and the turbo engine reaches its true potential! Moreover, the intake kit cannot be installed on its own without the high flow turbo inlet! The high-flow turbo 90-degree inlet pipe is much larger than the standard part and has a smoother internal design, eliminating any restrictions in the intake! The complete intake kit has been precisely developed and works in perfect harmony with the famous OEM+ Performance Software from Racingline.
