Refined to the Last Detail

HIPERMAX R's engineering extends to the finest details. Inverted dampers for strut-type applications deliver firm rigidity under driving stress. PNE coating eliminates rust-related sticking on adjustable dampers. An Advanced Bump Rubber promotes gradual load damping and suppresses abrupt suspension movement. Pillow ball upper mounts with machined chamfered aluminium housings and laser-marked logos reflect what HKS describes as KODAWARI, an uncompromising Japanese pursuit of perfection in every aspect of the product, inside and out.

Exclusive Technology Throughout

At the heart of the HIPERMAX R is a suite of HKS-exclusive technologies developed specifically for this series. SRF (Super Response Fluid) is a newly developed high-viscosity oil resistant to heat degradation, delivering damping response from very low speeds for reliable, precise handling. LVS (Low Vibration Spring) is a high-strength special spring engineered for sports driving, offering excellent response with a smooth ride. The Dual Preload Valve System, inherited from the HIPERMAX S, is individually calibrated per vehicle model for direct handling and consistent stability. A 30-step WR Needle adjustment mechanism with an expanded oil relief channel gives precise control across a wider range, including softer settings for daily street use.
