Engineering Detail at Every Level

HKS's in-house manufacturing shows in the details. Springs are cold-formed at HKS facilities using high-grade material beyond standard industry specifications, with the spring rate clearly printed on each unit. Japan-made valve shims with a special anti-adhesion surface treatment ensure stable, consistent oil flow in all conditions. Spring insulators relieve rotational forces for smooth, unrestricted compression and rebound. PNE-coated shock bodies prevent corrosion-related seizure and reduce friction on height adjustment. Inverted monotube dampers for strut-type applications add rigidity and handling precision. Even the newly developed DURA BOOTS, engineered from the ground up for outstanding heat, weather, and ozone resistance, reflect the same level of commitment to long-term quality.

Flat Ride Concept and Wide-Range Adjustment

The Dual Preload Valve System (Dual PVS) is individually optimised per vehicle application, refining rebound characteristics for smoother response and suppressing unnecessary movement. The WR Needle damping adjustment mechanism offers an exceptionally wide 30-step range, expanded toward the softer end to give greater flexibility for street use, with the optimal needle specification selected per vehicle from an extensive lineup.
