TEIN EnduraPro HC PLUS


Lift and OE Fit

EnduraPro HC PLUS is an OE shape shock absorber designed for a 20mm ride height raise while using the vehicle's original spring and upper mount, since the lower spring seat is shaped identical to the OE unit. Rather than simply raising a standard damper, TEIN adjusts the spring seat position and tests each vehicle model to secure sufficient stroke and correct alignment, since a naive height increase would otherwise reduce rebound stroke and push camber angle positive on strut suspensions. It also suits owners wanting to improve ride quality or handling without changing ride height, since it can be fitted with either OE springs or lowering springs.

Damping Adjustment and Service

Damping force is adjustable across 16 levels for compression and rebound together, and on some models a Damper Body Adjuster allows this adjustment without removing the damper, though those models do not include the H.B.S. system. The kit is also compatible with TEIN's EDFC range, including EDFC5 and EDFC Active Pro, for electronic damping force adjustment from the driver's seat. Due to its sealed construction, production cost is kept low while maintaining high quality.


Construction and Durability

EnduraPro HC PLUS uses a twin tube damper structure for longer stroke and a smaller repulsive force than a mono tube design, and most models feature TEIN's Hydraulic Bump Stopper, which converts the impact of a full stroke into heat rather than letting it escape as a repulsive force, improving comfort and durability at maximum load. For strut type suspensions, the steering knuckle bracket is thickened over OE for improved strength and steering feel, and the shell case itself uses a higher strength material with around 150 percent of OE tensile strength alongside a larger diameter for greater oil capacity, without increasing wall thickness or weight. The shell case is finished with TEIN's green powder coating and patented 2 layer, 1 bake anti rust treatment for corrosion resistance in coastal or heavy snowfall regions.
