Cusco Sport TN_S: Dual Adjustable Street and Competition Mono-Tube Coilover
The Cusco Sport TN_S brings the precision of the competition-grade TN_R to a wider audience by pairing the same Twin Needle dual adjustment technology with a more street-compatible setup. Where the TN_R is built without compromise for the track, the TN_S uses a longer stroke case and piston, softer damping character, and rear rubber mounts to deliver a more compliant and comfortable ride on public roads — without sacrificing the independent compression and rebound control that makes the TN Series unique. It is the ideal choice for experienced drivers who want professional-level tuning flexibility on a car that also sees regular road use, competing on street performance tires where R-compounds are not permitted by regulations. Every set is assembled in Japan in ISO 9001 and ASEA certified facilities.
Twin Needle technology explained
Traditional single-adjust dampers control compression and rebound through a shared valve path, meaning any adjustment affects both simultaneously. The Twin Needle system introduces a dedicated rebound-specific valve body fluid path, isolating the two forces entirely. Compression is controlled by a red dial, rebound by a blue dial, both accessible from the same end of the damper with no tools required. With 24 steps in each direction, a total of 576 distinct damper settings are available, enabling fine compensation for braking loads, turn-in response, lateral forces, corner exit traction, and driver preference across a wide variety of road and track surfaces.
