How it works
KAAZ differentials use a mechanical clutch-type locking mechanism with multiple friction plates inside the differential unit. When a wheel speed difference is detected, an internal cam and cross-shaft compress the clutch pack — creating fast, direct lock-up and distributing torque efficiently to both wheels.
Compared to most OEM units, KAAZ differentials use larger friction plates and a higher plate count, giving them more torque capacity, faster response, and better heat resistance under sustained load.
KAAZ LSDs are technically adjustable — the locking behavior, responsiveness, and stability can be tuned through clutch plate configuration, preload springs, and ramp angles. This makes them suitable for drifting, track days, time attack, or high-performance street use.
Available configurations
1.5-Way LSD - Track & street
Strong lock-up on acceleration with milder behavior under deceleration. Ideal for road racing and performance street use.
2-Way LSD - Motorsport & drifting
Full lock-up under both acceleration and engine braking. Widely used in competitive motorsport and drifting applications.
Built for demanding use
Precision-engineered to withstand extreme loads, high temperatures, and prolonged track conditions. KAAZ differentials are a proven choice in competitive racing and high-performance builds where reliability matters.
