Built on Racing Since 1966

Manley Performance was founded in March 1966 by Hank Manley, a gearhead turned engineer whose passion for performance drove him to build one of the most respected names in internal engine components. Starting on Race Street in Bloomfield, New Jersey, with a second-hand lathe and a single milling machine, Manley grew the company through genuine relationships with the legends of American motorsport, including Don Garlits, Bill Jenkins, and Jungle Jim Liberman, whose real-world demands shaped the product line from the very beginning. Today, operating from a world-class facility in Lakewood, New Jersey and a distribution centre in Orange, California, Manley runs 75 CNC spindles and supplies both the performance aftermarket and major OEMs including Ford.

Engineering That Has Stood Every Test

Manley's product range, spanning forged pistons, connecting rods, stainless and titanium valves, camshafts, pushrods, valve springs, retainers, and rotating assemblies, has been developed and refined across six decades of competition use. Titanium retainers developed by Manley were found on virtually every car in the Winston Cup garage in 2000. Their Turbo Tuff connecting rods became a benchmark for forced induction builds. Custom connecting rods were produced for Ford's SVT Cobra and GT programmes. Each product in the range carries the accumulated engineering knowledge of a company that has spent more than half a century solving real problems for serious engine builders.
