Dyno Testing Independent testing at DREAM Automotive on a completely stock GR86 showed an increase in peak torque and power, with a resonance dip between 5700-6300rpm after which the gain reaches 14hp through to the RPM limit. On a GR86 custom tuned by Paragon Performance in the USA running E85 with closed loop fuel control, the resonance issue was eliminated and the gains were larger still, with only the airbox changed between back-to-back runs. The final design came after over 125 dyno runs during development.
