The Performance Clutches Stage 1 Street HD Kit – DMF Compatible is engineered for BMW drivers who want increased torque capacity and long-term durability while retaining the smooth characteristics of the factory Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF). Designed for fast road use and tuned applications, this system enhances holding power without introducing harsh engagement or excessive drivetrain noise. The kit is optimised specifically for use with the OE or OE-replacement dual mass flywheel, preserving factory damping characteristics that reduce vibration and maintain comfort in daily driving conditions. The cover assembly incorporates a QT450 steel pressure plate, selected for its exceptional thermic stability and resistance to distortion under repeated heat cycles. This ensures consistent clamp load and reliable engagement even under elevated load conditions.
